Refunds and Cancellation

Devign is sold as a subscription with monthly credits, and through one-off credit packs. This page says how to stop paying and when money comes back. It sits beside the Terms, and where the two disagree, this page wins.

Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, from Settings → Billing, without writing to anybody. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that. Projects that are still in your balance can be started until that date.

The 14 days the law gives you

Israeli consumer law (חוק הגנת הצרכן, התשמ"א-1981, and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of a Transaction) Regulations) gives you 14 days from the day of the transaction to cancel a distance sale and get your money back, less a cancellation fee of 5% or ILS 100, whichever is lower. If you are in the European Union, the Consumer Rights Directive gives you the same 14 days. We do not charge the cancellation fee: within 14 days of a first payment we refund it in full.

One exception the law itself makes: if you asked us to start immediately and you have used the service, we may keep the value of what you used. In practice we count projects. If you started projects, we refund the part of the payment that matches the projects you did not start.

After 14 days

• Monthly plans. We do not refund a month that has already started. Cancel and you are not charged again.
• Annual plans. Cancel and we refund the whole months you have not used, at the rate you paid, minus any month in which you started a project.
• Project packs. Unused projects from a pack are refundable at the price you paid for them for 12 months from purchase.

If something is broken

If the product did not do what this site says it does, write to us and we will refund you whether or not the 14 days have passed. That is not a gesture, it is what the law calls a defect in the service.

How to ask

Write to avielwork11@gmail.com from the address on the account, with the date of the payment. We answer within 3 business days and pay back through the same method you paid with, normally within 14 days. Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc., which handles the card details; we never see them.
